I have that problem.
to sell the item "SOJ"
I can not see the message counter sold stones  sad

this is configurable?

Check option ShowSOJMessage=1 in d2server.ini

The solution its simple!

add line "ShowSOJMessage=1"

d2server.ini

My file did not have that line
