Hello,

I'm unable to find whats wrong with my setup

once managed to get it working but I can't replicate the installation process

CMD> net start d2gs

The Diablo II Close Game Server service could not be started

d2gs.log says

It looks like there is some file not matching the version of your D2GS.

Would you have more information about your server? Version D2GS, modifications in game, etc..

Any reason why you are using the service? I haven't had much with it. Normally just boot directly the d2gs.exe, does that work or also throw errors?
