Topic: How to change MOTD and other administrative functions

Hello,

I am trying to figure out how to change the MOTD. Is there some kind of control panel with an interface that I can use to customize some settings?

I ahev tried changing the MOTD in both the registry and in the conf file, but it does not change in game. It just says, "Hello World" no matter how I edit it. Thank you for help.

It looks like maybe I need to hex edit those...

What about changing this:

I tried editing the 'news.txt' file in PvPGN confs, but the in-game message stays the same...

EDIT: Ok, the issue was that I needed to set all services to start manually so that the PvPGN service stops when I shut down the server. That way all confs are reloaded at server start.

I'm off to learn a bit about hex editing to change the initial in-game greeting...
Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

p.s. What about simply changing the date and time that appears in the lobby screen? How can I do that?
