Topic: your position in line is 1

I use D2GS-113d-build02_mxcen and pvpgn-master-1.99.7.2.1-PRO_plain to set up a private server,
My operating system is win7/x64,

D2GS use installx64.bat, PVPGN use PvPGN.exe,D2CS.exe,D2DBS.exe

I can use 114d Client Login server, Create accounts and characters, BUT, Show when entering the game "your position in line is: 1"

why?!

In addition, I would like to ask, how to install pvpgn without using magic build, Because that thing is too difficult to understand and complete, for me,

Check my post below this thread. It is the only one that I made. Someone else had a similar problem. Perhaps that would help you.

I read your post and did my best to follow the steps, but the result is still the same......

I will continue to experiment and hope to get your further guidance

c:\pvpgn\  Is necessary?

In my case the "1 in line" thing was because of D2GS not running correctly. I've tried to follow many guides but the one that was easiest for me was this one: https://pvpgn.pro/d2gs_installation.html

If your hosting everything on the same machine, then you can ignore all the different ips in the guide (d.d.d.d, a.a.a.a etc) and just use the same for all of them. Makes it a lot easier to understand.

Edit:
Also, if you want to connect from outside of your local network, you will need to edit the line in address_configuration.conf at "Game Translations for clients/games (client data ports)", "Diablo II Character Server translation (d2cs)" and " Diablo II Game Server Translation (d2gs)"

YES , I seem to have successfully solved that problem,  by " Change the compatibility to Windows XP v3 for ALL USERS "

At first I didn't understand "for all users"

It is if you are planning on copying and pasting my configuration files. I am glad that you got your server to work! Yes I was having other issues with the compatibility. Since the daemon is ran by a different user(I am assuming) than your own you MUST have that set to "All Users".

我总结了下流程大概是这样的:

1. 配置D2GS:
1.1 编辑d2gs.reg或者d2gs_x64.reg
1.2 编辑D2Server.ini
1.3 右键点击D2GS.exe, '属性'->'兼容性'->'更改所有用户的设置'->'以兼容模式运行.... XP(SP3)'
1.4 从'Diablo II'文件夹复制必要的DLL和MPQ文件到D2GS文件夹
1.5 运行 install.bat或者install_x64.bat (如果有提示窗口出现,选择确定)
1.6 控制面板->所有控制面板项->管理工具->服务
    找到 'Diablo II Close Game Server'->启动

2. 配置PVPGN
2.1 PvPGNConsole.exe, D2CSConsole.exe, D2DBSConsole.exe
    分别右键这3个文件, '属性'->'兼容性'->'更改所有用户的设置'->'以兼容模式运行.... XP(SP3)'
2.2 修改 bnetd.conf, d2cs.conf, d2dbs.conf, realm.conf
2.3 如果要开放外网IP,还要修改 address_translation.conf
2.4 复制D2GS文件夹中的D2Server.ini到pvpgn\conf文件夹
2.5 新建安装文件 install_pvpgn.bat, 保存在pvpgn文件夹下
    @echo off
    PvPGNConsole.exe -s install
    D2CSConsole.exe -s install
    D2DBSConsole.exe -s install
2.6 运行 install_pvpgn.bat (如果防火墙有提示窗口出现,选择确定)
2.7 控制面板->所有控制面板项->管理工具->服务
    找到 'd2cs service'->启动
    找到 'd2dbs service'->启动
    找到 'PvPGN service'->启动

3. Diablo II.exe 或者 Game.exe 右键->属性->兼容性->'特权等级'
   勾选 '以管理员身份运行此程序'
