I Using PVPGN 1.8.5 , D2GS for 1.13c in Windows 7 , 64 bit.
I activate d2gs.exe but , the d2gs process disappears. As it stands, I am able to connect to the realm and go into channels, but I can't create games because d2gs is not running.
The previous days i can play without problems, it is a public server
I think this is due to attacks or something similar.
there any way to avoid falling D2GS.exe

First of all you should close on firewall port 4000 on your D2GS server from outside except your IP address. Then you can try connect and create a game.
If all works fine and when you remove the blocking rule the problem appears again it means that your server is attackedd forums.harpywar.com/viewtopic.php?id=1538
I did what I said from the firewall blocking the port.

I think you know what to do to diagnose the issue - look into the logs and configs to make sure the D2GS is running and confugured properly.

I have the same problem, possibly the same attack. Already used the original version of d2gs marsgod and also d2gs.exe drop crash.
Now that falls once a day at most.

Your server machine should be unreachable if you have experienced DDoS attack. In this case you just have to rent a server with DDoS protection.
But I think you still talk about D2GS vulnerability when the crash happens randomly - solution is by the url in 2-d post of the topic.
May be your server is wrong configured if you can not create Diablo games anytime. Above you said that it worked before, but now you can't create games even if port 4000 is opened only for your IP. So it means that it is not attaking at this moment and you have to check your configs and logs to fix that.
It is a DDoS attack, send data package to
port 4000 / tcp. d2gs making process saturate.
You can change the file d2gs to mitigate these requests
