Topic: [Bug][Fixed] Diablo 2 - Pvpgn Banner and Ban List Issue

Hi! this is my first post here = ) i have a little problem with the configuration of the banner in my pvpgn diablo 2 server.

The version of the server is 1.99.7.1-PRO, the image was convert to the smk format. When i start the server, the banner show for a few seconds and later change to the diablo 2 logo. If i click the image, the game crash, and not redirect me to the website i set.

How i do wrong? what other information you need to help me out?

The other issue i encounter is related with the ban list of accounts in pvpgn. I do several bans, temporal and permanent, on a list of accounts, then when i perform a complete restart of the services (pvpgn,d2gs, etc) all the bans are gone. The accounts i banned can login again, so i need to do the ban work all over again.

I forget some configuration to make in the server for prevent this? can you help me guys please.

Banners issue confirmed and should be researched. My Diablo2 not crashes, but freezes for 30-40 seconds.
How did you create bans?

I tried this once with no success.  What program did you guys use to create the SMK files? The one I had wouldn't run on any new version of Windows

Hi Meanski, u can use Old Smacker Tools, but only works in Windows xp.

I tried it on test server server server.pvpgn.pro with default banners.
It may be only pvpgn-pro issue, but not older pvpgn versions.

Hi, i have another issue now with version 1.99.7.1-PRO, when i click on any banner, my user is logged off from the server.

Find here the bnetd.log

I could not reproduce the issue. There is another issue with Diablo 2 when client freezes for 45 seconds after a click. But it does not disconnect from a server.

In this case, the client freezes for a few seconds after the click, but when u try to write on chat or create a game, it shows a message "Lots Connection to Battle.Net" and never opens the url from the banner.

Auto builds can be downloaded from https://pvpgn.pro
Sure, you can use Magic Builder if you wanna create a custom build.

You need not download Builder twice, instead you can just run it and choose update source code (first option).

Hello guys, what's the configuration on smaker to Diablo 2 banners?
I've made one but it doesn't show up!

To use Smacker Tools create a virtual machine with Windows XP

You have to create multiple frames banner with many frames of the same image
Otherwise one frame will blink and then a black screen.

It's working now, it's strange because in ad.conf, if there's only one line with ad00001 it doesn't show or have a huge delay to show up, but if there's more lines with 3 ads works well
